1. Gypsea Crepes

Who says you can’t find French-style crepes down South? Gypsea Crepes has made it their life mission to create the perfect balance of crisp-soft crepes with their mix of sweet and savory crepes. Great for a perfect Panama City Beach breakfast or an in between meals brunch!

The traditional breakfast crepe wraps around bacon, egg, cheese, and veggies in a cone shape (they all do). Or, go for a sweeter option with fruits and Nutella. The savory crepes are the perfect balance between breakfast and lunch, especially the “Eddie” with ham and brie or the Duke with roast beef.

  • Southern-style breakfast and brunch

Missing your fish boils from Louisiana? Good thing you can still find one right here at Dat Cajun Place. But hey, it’s brunch we’re after, so let’s take a look at their brunch menu. On top of your southern seafood favorites, you can order a wide array of mouthwatering brunch classics with a New Orleans twist. The best part has to be the Northshore Jazz Band, who delivers a tasty side of live music to enjoy with your meal.

And if you catch a football game, you can enjoy pitcher and wing specials for a more pub-like experience. Keep in mind that the brunch menu is only served on Sundays. Takeout is also available.

3. Liza’s Kitchen

  • Gourmet sandwiches and brunch made from scratch

Liza’s Kitchen makes their bread — including the focaccia — from scratch. That’s what makes their gourmet sandwiches so delectable and the freshest around. Here, you can pick from a sandwich or brunch special — or both. We love the Roast Beef and Pimento Cheese on Focaccia, as well as the more health-conscious Hippie Chick, with roasted chicken and goat cheese.

Brunch-wise, you won’t find omelets, but the restaurant serves impeccable French toast, biscuits and gravy, bacon breakfast sandwiches, and poached eggs.

4. Another Broken Egg Cafe

  • Traditional breakfast and brunch spot

Looking for a casual, cozy, and chill brunch? Another Broken Egg Cafe has all the classics plus a few surprises! They do a few Cajun specialties with a twist, like the Mardi Gras omelette with crawfish and sausage. Other favorites include the fried chicken and waffles, as well as the cinnamon bun french toast.

If there’s one thing this joint knows, it’s bloody marys. They have more than five variations of this tomato cocktail, like one with gin, another with tequila, and one with vodka as well. They also have their specialized takes on spiked coffees and lattes with liquor and liqueurs to give your caffeine an extra kick.

5. The Grand Marlin

This large seafood spot has an incredible brunch menu that you can enjoy while catching the game on one of the huge flat-screen TVs. Our personal favorites include the crabcake egg benedict with asparagus and jalapeno hollandaise (yum!).  The Logan Turnpike grits are a must-have side, and you can always pick a more traditional seafood item like jumbo shrimp if you lean more toward the lunch side of brunch.

And if you want to add a little fun to your brunch? Try one of the Grand Marlin’s signature martinis, like the cucu-tini with gin or St. Thom’s martini with coconut!
